Get ready to be amazed by the freedom with which numerous animal species from all five continents live.
From majestic elephants and powerful rhinoceroses to elegant giraffes, lions, tigers, bears, and a wide variety of birds. Drive along its vast roads and stop at strategically placed viewpoints to observe the animals in spacious enclosures that recreate their natural habitats.

Cabárceno Nature Park is much more than a zoo. Its karst topography, with imposing dolomitic rocks and turquoise lakes, will take your breath away. Enjoy pleasant walks along its trails, organize a picnic in its designated areas, and breathe in the tranquility of this unique environment.

CABÁRCENO PARK SCHEDULE

The park is open all year round except on December 24th, 25th, and 31st, and January 1st.

  • July and August: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (ticket office closes)

  • Easter Week (Thursday to Sunday): 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (ticket office closes)

  • From March 1 to November 1 (except July and August): 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (ticket office closes)

  • From November 2 to February 28 (Monday to Friday): 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (ticket office closes)

  • From November 2 to February 28 (Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and long weekends): 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (ticket office closes)

The opening hours refer to entry, as you can stay in the park until sunset.

Note: From 5:45 PM onwards, some animals begin to be brought back to their enclosures to be fed and observed, as required by international organizations.


360º Room: Projection Schedule

  • Cantabria Infinita: Monday to Friday at 4:15 PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 PM and 4:15 PM.

  • Camino Lebaniego: Monday to Friday at 4:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 1:15 PM and 4:30 PM.

  • Cabárceno Park: Monday to Friday at 4:45 PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 PM and 4:45 PM.


Bear House Hours

  • Open Monday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.


Bird of Prey Flight Techniques Schedule

  • From July 1st to August 31st, Easter Week (Saturday to Monday), the last weekend of April, and weekends in May, June, and September: 12:00 PM, 3:45 PM, and 5:30 PM.

  • Monday to Friday in September, weekends from October to April, national holidays, and long weekends (low season): 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.


Reptile House Hours

  • July, August, and Easter Week (Thursday to Sunday): 9:30 AM to 7:45 PM.

  • From March 1 to June 30 and from September 1 to November 1: 9:30 AM to 6:45 PM.

  • From November 2 to February 28: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and long weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:45 PM.


Behavior Rules

  • Feeding animals is not allowed. Changing their diet can harm them and is also dangerous for you.

  • The speed limit inside the park is 20 km/h.

  • Always park in the designated areas.

  • You must respect the traffic signs.

  • Do not touch the animals. It is a risk for both you and them.

  • Be extra cautious with children throughout the park.

  • Keep an eye on your belongings at all times. The park is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

  • The park management is exempt from consequences for violations of these rules.

🐶 Rules for bringing a dog

  • Dogs must always be on a leash.

  • Dogs are not allowed in:

    • Restaurants or cafés

    • The reptile house

    • The walkway next to the sea lion pool

  • Cable car: dogs are only allowed if they are in a carrier and travel with you.

  • Special guided tours or activities (such as “Wild Visit”) do not allow dogs.

  • Some potentially dangerous breeds may have restrictions in certain facilities.

ℹ️ Other useful details

  • Dogs enter for free.

  • The park is very large and much of it is usually visited by car, which makes it relatively comfortable if you bring a pet.

  • Bring water for your dog, especially in summer, because the visit can be long.
